  4. bluedreamreal: oh wow, that got A LOT of traffic
  5. bluemaybe I *should* have written it!
  6. bluemvp comment: "i don’t trust a translation to a trash language with a compromised compiler"
  7. blueawww, that's a mean one: "We've come full circle: now we have AI-written blog posts complaining about AI-written code."
  8. bluethe post is NOT written by clankers, lol
  9. dreamrealFunny thing, too: if they wanted they could check the IRC logs and see the actual discussion that started it
  10. dreamrealMost of the commenters have apparently never seen what an actual SEO team will do to an article, but I'm not pointing that out
  11. bluehm
  12. bluedreamreal: why did they all decide your website is made by AI?
  13. dreamrealthe UX was largely generated by AI
  14. dreamrealbut people don't know how to analyze content structure and they look for surface things
  15. dreamrealand they look for signals to confirm analysis: they find one thing that sounds like an AI wrote it, and go "yep, AI, discard" without wondering anything else: they lack curiosity
  16. dreamrealpeople look for reasons to filter rather than reasons to accept; it's okay, the world has trained them to do so by being populated by evil and selfish idiots
  17. bluemhm
  18. bluemy question was rather, how do they *know*
  19. blueif I look at the website, I can't tell it was clankered
  20. blueof course, I know it is, but I can't tell
  21. dreamrealI dunno, lots of assumptions
  22. dreamrealI should put in a comment that says "this website was largely designed by claude and codex with a human somewhere in the loop demanding it work, good job sussing it out, holmes"
  23. blueor better: "it's still not illegal to clanker websites, DON'T TREAD ON ME"
  24. bluepreferably with a snake emoji
  25. dreamrealhaha

  37. dreamreala slight bit
  38. dreamrealan iota
  39. bluelisten well, because the transition from dear mr fantasy to hey jude has to go into the pantheon of one of the most incredible moments in music
  40. blueit's almost like they *knew* what they were doing
  41. dreamrealI love the traffic version
  42. blueyes
  43. blueit's also a very dark song, in a way
  44. dreamrealHey Jude broke me out of my vaguely pop-rock leanings as a kid (like, VERY young) and Dear Mr. Fantasy broke me out of twee prog rock leanings
  45. blue"you are the one who can make us all glad, but in doing that, you break down in tears"
  46. blueheh
  47. dreamrealYeah, it's a rough song... and when Winwood opens up the outro with "yeah, yeah..." oh man
  48. bluetrue
  49. dreamrealman, Jerry healthy....
  50. bluethe seamlessness of that transition
  51. dreamrealI haven't gotten there yet, still on traffic
  52. blueit's coming up
  53. bluethe jerry+brent years were the best, I think
